Learning from Failure, Leading Through Transparency

We’re back at it with Thrive to Learn!! This episode focuses on a different aspect of student wellness, school culture, and environment - the physical space. I recently collaborated with San Antonio ISD (SAISD) on a review of a breakdown in communication and HVAC machinery that led to the closure of all schools over the course of a few days. We’ll talk through the incident and lessons learned with Brad Jupp, Senior Advisor to SAISD’s superintendent. It’s an honest look at how the physical space and maintenance of that space are a key component to creating schools where students can thrive … to learn.
